Driving Sustainability and New Flavors at the World’s Largest Food Fair

From October 7 to 11, 2023, Cologne, Germany, became the epicenter of the global food industry during Anuga, the world’s largest food and beverage trade fair. With over 140,000 visitors and 7,900 exhibitors from 118 countries, this year’s event stood out not only for its scale but also for its focus on sustainable growth and the responsible use of resources—a theme deeply aligned with our mission at Caprichos del Paladar.

Strategically located in the Spain Pavilion, within the vibrant Murcia Region zone, our stand served as a key meeting point for distributors, restaurateurs, and food enthusiasts from around the globe. It was an exceptional platform to showcase our innovative products, particularly our new artichoke burger, designed to delight discerning palates and cater to environmentally conscious consumers.

During the event, we hosted tastings that allowed attendees to experience the richness and quality of our flagship products, such as the artichoke flower and our groundbreaking artichoke burger. These tasting sessions included both scheduled meetings and spontaneous interactions with visitors, attracting a diverse and enthusiastic audience.

The response was overwhelming. We held productive meetings with potential clients from every continent, with notable interest from the United States, Canada, and other American countries. The feedback we received was incredibly positive, and we are already working through our agents to turn these connections into lasting, fruitful business relationships.

Anuga 2023 not only reaffirmed our position as innovators in the vegetable preserves sector but also opened new opportunities to expand our international presence. It underscored the critical role sustainability plays in the future growth of our industry.
